NaXex volunteers were first in line for the TREE PLANTING in Sofia’s Park Vrana

As the saying goes – a man has to plant a tree, build a house and raise a child.

We here at NaXex Technological Development are taking care of the first part for sure – this Saturday, despite the uncomfortable weather, a tight group of colleagues, friends and family visited the Vrana park. There, we planted a variety of trees, including gingko bilobas, magnolias and willows.

Most of our colleagues brought their children along, to show them how to take care of the Nature and look after it. The kids had a lot of fun helping with the planting and enjoyed the park’s fresh air and freedom.

Thanks to the management of the park and Sofia’s municipality, we were able to make another step towards making Sofia a cleaner, greener place to raise our children.

While did they were having fun with planting the trees, they also managed to learn some of the park’s history as a former residence of Tsar Boris III. Some interesting facts, for example, that after his tomb and chapel were blown up, his remains are now kept at the Rilla Monastery.
